Hatha Yoga- The word hatha means willful or forceful. Hatha yoga refers to a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or postures), and sequences of asanas, designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body—especially the main channel, the spine—so that energy can flow freely.
Restorative & Therapeutic Yoga- Have you tried yoga and found it too challenging? This class is deigned to restore and heal your body. Restorative Yoga is for people who are needing a little extra TLC for their practice. It is designed to help those that have been injured or have health concerns that want to find balance and healing. In your restorative practice you will get the blood flowing, opening the capillaries, and improving circulation in a calm and relaxed flow.
Bare Bones Basics- RaeAnn will be teaching Yoga to beginners using her knowledge of the Baron Baptiste and Hatha Yoga. The bare bones class will include learning proper foot placement and alignment of your body, core for balance, breath work, claiming your mind, and how to utilize yoga in your every day life.
